As we continuously explore new ideas, we are seeking a hands-on Building Materials Lab Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and optimization of composite building products. Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement experimental methods and tools to test and optimize composite materials used in building products.
  • Perform laboratory experiments, including physical property measurements, data analysis, and result presentations.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
  • Assist in developing and testing strategies to enhance the performance of building materials.
  • Document test results accurately and compile them for reports, white papers, and patent applications.
  • Support the development of innovative solutions and foster a collaborative company culture.
  • Prioritize safety in all experimental work and processes.
  • Manage multiple tasks effectively, meet deadlines, and work independently.

Required Knowledge & Skills:
  • Recent graduates with a diploma or BSc degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical & Environmental Technology, or related disciplines are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with laboratory testing of composite materials such as wood, cement, or plastics is a plus.
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort operating lab equipment.
  • Proficient in preparing test materials, setting up lab tests, and documenting results.
  • Ability to apply tools and techniques to measure physical and chemical properties of materials.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to present findings clearly.
  • Able to lift objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality, while maintaining a focus on overall objectives.
  • A positive attitude, sense of humor, and ability to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
